The details of anyone applying online to the British High Commission in India for a UK visa are publicly available through sheer stupidity in the way the website was programmed. The High Commission has been informed, but seems to be curiously uninterested in fixing the problem.

The Australian Prime Minister, John Howard, has announced that the (Commonwealth) Government will settle any fines faced by the Australian Cricket Board for not fielding a team to tour Zimbabwe. Previously when countries have hummed and hawed about not going to Zimbabwe, the threat of fines from the ICC has forced cricket boards to go to the country, rather than take a political stand against Mugabe and his cronies.
