I remember reading about the Apostrophe Protection Society while at school. This is their website; it’s a shame that its design seems to have come from a 1990s WYSIWYG Web development application.

A blog documenting incorrect usage of the apostrophe all over the world, mostly in America (of course).

A one-page site which is about exactly what it sounds like. Reading the copy on the site is difficult not only because of the screen-width Times New Roman (with long headings set in block capitals!), but also because there’s nary an apostrophe to be seen. Obviously that’s the point, but it is interesting how a site about one thing—the abolition of the humble apostrophe from the English language—itself serves as a strong argument for the opposite point of view.
